Since many of you are traveling to Brooklyn for our wedding, we wanted to share a few of our favorite spots around the neighborhood. The EVEN Hotel is in a great location, walk northeast to explore Fort Greene, walk southwest to explore Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, and Boerum Hill, or walk South East to explore our neighborhood, Park Slope!

If you want more specific suggestions, we list some below, but you really can't go too wrong around here!

- Blank Street Coffee: Our favorite! Yes, it’s a chain, - but we love it for coffee, breakfast pastries, and the salted chocolate chip cookie

- Miriam: One of our favorite spots for brunch, with Israeli and Mediterranean food. Also a great choice for dinner

- Cafe Paulette: One of our earliest dates was at this cafe! if you want to copy what we did you can eat outside here and then head over to Fort Greene park for a lovely stroll!

- Mile End Deli: A Brooklyn deli serving Jewish and Montreal-inspired food (bagels, smoked fish/meat, sandwiches, etc.)

- Maman: French-inspired café with coffee, breakfast, brunch, and lunch

- Daily Provisions: Great for coffee, breakfast, lunch, pastries, and their famous crullers

- Breakfast by Salt’s Cure: Known for excellent pancakes. There’s usually a line, but we think they’re worth it!

- Rucola: Nicer Italian restaurant very close to the EVEN hotel

- Piccola Cucina Casa: Another great cozy Italian restaurant close by

- Ki Sushi: Our favorite sushi spot - one location closer to the EVEN hotel, and a location near us in Park Slope

- Barbalu: Another great Italian spot nearby
