Wedding attire is Cocktail!
Feel free to bring sneakers for dancing if you have foot issues like Michelle does!
For Saturday’s park day, wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and competitive - athletic attire encouraged!
Unless children are named on your invitation, we are hosting an adults-only celebration and hope this gives everyone a chance to relax and enjoy the evening with us.
However, feel free to bring your little ones to the park day on Saturday!
Some of our favorite moments together have been spent in Prospect Park playing volleyball and spikeball with our friends (where Michelle plays in "very serious" spikeball games and Sarah does her absolute best to prove she belongs in the “big leagues").
As part of the wedding weekend, we're planning a casual park day with games, lunch and plenty of hanging out. Join us to play, cheer from the sidelines, or relax and enjoy time together.
As noted on the Schedule page, when you RSVP, please let us know if you’d like to participate in the games and we’ll assign teams, or if you’d prefer to spectate and enjoy the day with us.
I (Michelle) was getting stressed out at the idea of walking down the aisle and having everybody scrutinize me, so I asked Sarah if she would be ok doing something a little different for our ceremony. I mentioned that I had always loved the baraat at my friends Matt and Bianca's wedding, and we decided we would do something inspired by that. The hope is that we can have a joyous parade with music and dancing into the venue. The current plan, which is still subject to change, is for us to lead all the guests around the block and into the venue, where everybody will take their seats and the ceremony will commence!
